God has a great plan for women in ministry and our mission is to inspire, mentor and motivate Christian women. As women we have the unique opportunity to minister in various ways as Christian mothers and wives but also as sisters in Christ. We must be motivated solely by the Word of God and assist our congregation by nurturing, encouraging and equipping women to faithfully and fully use their God-given gifts to glorify God. At New Banklick Baptist Church, the Christian Chicks meet on the fourth Thursday of each month for fellowship and a time of exploring opportunities for service in every calling of life from home, to church, and the world. We invite women and girls of all ages to join us for fun times such as a purse exchange, jewelry auction, and at Christmas; dirty Santa (just to name a few).
